God created anime for a reason...

esIts been said many times that if you like anime you're a big loser and have no life. Wrong! It just means you appreciate brilliant story telling with themes that are not based on western society's teachings.

Take the themes of these anime:

Bleach - betrayal, friendship, urge to protect, doing what is right regardless of the consequence, paying a debt no matter what

Naruto - keeping a promise, betrayal, helping a friend whether he likes it or not, spying on nude women is not right, protecting one's family

Elfen Lied - people are evil, protect those who you love, kill those who you don't, gory killing is entertaining

Deathnote - smart people are cruel, we can judge who is right or wrong, people take advantage of each other, Deathgods are not very smart

Those are a few awesome themes, which we are constantly assailed with.
