This is dedicated to random people out there who know someone who is able to leave everything behind and make something of themselves. They have, in front of them, the opportunity to be great and somehow you can't be a part of that.
So do we stand in their way out of selfishness or open the door for them giving them the slight push they need to fly away. Do we let them go and cry and beg for them to turn around.
So here I stand as a person, saying if you know someone who has that great opportunity let them go, leave them the chance to free themselves of the shackles that is their life. But if you feel you are able to and they are worth it, let them know that failing in their endeavour they can always come back home.
Are you making sacrifices or just being the person you should be when you let go?
Maybe, before you say your farewells, you just hold them for the last time not saying anything for a whole minute. Let them know that everything you're doing is just your way of saying you care. After that your farewell is just a formality.
Now you could heed my advice or ignore it, making yourself a burden and causing them to resent you so much it starts to hurt.
I know this is not my usual post, but I felt this was necessary. Maybe its the tiredness or depression, but life I feel needs a kick start sometimes.
